DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Yamaha YZ125 that is ridden in all seasons, on wet tracks in spring and on cold ground in winter, needs a rear pad that does not change character. For the YZ125 from 2003 to 2026, Accossato offers the rear pad AGPP106 in the Sintered compound, SKU AGPP106ST. It is aimed at riders who train regularly in varied conditions and want the rear pedal to behave the same way whether the disc is wet, cold or hot.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) rear pad, SKU AGPP106ST
  • Yamaha YZ125, 2003 to 2026
  • Accossato: high grip that stays constant from cold to hot
  • Accossato: good grip in the wet
  • For year-round training
  • One set for the rear caliper
  • Front pads AGPA110 and AGPA288, discs DK111, DK268, DK269 listed

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the Sintered compound as offering high, constant grip at both low and high temperatures, with good performance in the wet. On the rear of a YZ125 ridden in changing conditions, that consistency helps. Accossato also mentions slow wear and reduced fade; we note it once.

A Rear Brake for Every Season

From wet spring tracks to cold winter training, the rear brake of a YZ125 sees water, clay and grit. A Sintered rear pad is chosen to keep the pedal feel the same across those conditions, so the rider can focus on lines and technique rather than on how the brake will respond. It suits riders who ride every week, regardless of the season, and parents who maintain their child's bike and want one pad that copes with whatever the club track offers that weekend. For dry practice only, OR is gentler; for deep mud and race days, STMX.

Fitment and Compatibility

For every YZ125 from the 2003 model year to 2026, Accossato names AGPP106 as the rear pad, here in its Sintered version. A single box equips the one rear caliper. The front brake of the YZ125 is covered by AGPA110 (2008 to 2021) and AGPA288 (2021 to 2026), and Accossato also lists the discs DK111, DK268 and DK269. Winter tracks leave a film of wet clay on everything; if it dries inside the caliper it can hold the piston, so rinse the area with a soft jet after riding. Measure the friction material before each training block and replace the pads before the backing plates get close to the disc.

Road Approval

No ABE or approval certificate is on file for this pad. We offer it for competition use.
