DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 used for weekend trips with a passenger or a tail bag carries more weight over the rear wheel, and on wet roads the rear brake becomes an important tool for settling the bike. Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad with Sintered lining, SKU AGPP91ST, is designed for that use and is catalogued for model years 2017 to 2025. It is meant for riders who share their bike, carry luggage or ride through autumn and winter, and who want a rear pedal that keeps its feel in the rain.

Key Features

  • Sintered rear pads AGPP91ST
  • Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, 2017 to 2025
  • Accossato claims high, even grip at all temperatures and good wet bite
  • Firm pedal under a passenger's weight
  • Dependable on rain-soaked roads
  • OR and STMX share this plate
  • For track and racing use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the Sintered lining holds grip high and constant across temperatures and keeps biting on a wet rotor. On the rear of a loaded Vitpilen 401, that means the pedal responds the same way after a shower as on a dry morning. The lining is carried on the AGPP91 plate and slots into the rear caliper without changes.

Sharing the Ride in Any Weather

Riding two-up changes the balance of the bike, putting more weight on the rear tyre. A smooth press on the rear brake before the front helps keep stops gentle for the passenger. On the Vitpilen 401, a Sintered lining gives that pedal a firm, repeatable response, and it continues to work reliably when the road is wet or covered in leaves. Riders who commute through winter will find the same steadiness on cold, damp mornings, when the rear wheel throws up a fine film of spray at every junction.

After rides in the rain, rinse road dirt off the caliper and dry the disc before parking the bike for the night.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues AGPP91 for the rear of the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 across 2017 to 2025, with AGPA184 at the front. For dry city riding, OR is the softer option. Check the outline of your used pads against this pair before fitting it to the Vitpilen 401.

Road Approval

We hold no ABE or test mark for AGPP91ST, so it is listed for motorsport use.

Scope of Delivery
