Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Substituting a spacer changes the internal geometry, not just the fit.

Why the Original

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 15564-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15564-02

Category: Spacers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15564-02_4b7ca7af-efbc-45c5-b149-b549e51fc2f3.png?v=1788876644
