CK26221 is built to that brief. It is the deep lower section of Carbonin's Gen 7 bodywork for the 2026 ZX-10R, shaped to sit under the new exhaust routing and mounted on quick-release brackets so it drops away for an oil change without the side panels coming off first.

Key Features

Deep containment profile shaped to the retention requirement common to national and FIM circuit regulations

Quick-release bracket mounting — the pan comes off on its own, independently of the flanks

Carbon laminate with a prepreg inner skin, cured under pressure in an autoclave

Clearance moulded for the Gen 7 header run and sump profile

Unlacquered buffed weave, ready for team colours or bare carbon

Why the Shape Matters

A belly pan is judged twice: once by scrutineering and once by the stopwatch. The containment volume has to be genuinely closed, without drain slots that would let oil escape, yet the pan also has to clear the header pipes with enough gap that radiant heat does not cook the laminate over a race distance. Carbonin resolve that by moulding the clearance in rather than trimming it out afterwards, and by curing the part in an autoclave so the geometry holds when the section directly above the collector reaches working temperature.

Working On It

The quick-release brackets are the practical part of the design. On a stock ZX-10R the lower bodywork is trapped by the flanks, which means a between-session oil check turns into a strip-down. Here the pan is its own assembly: undo the brackets, lower it clear, and the sump plug and filter are in front of you with the rest of the bodywork still on the bike.

Fitment

Made for the 2026 Kawasaki ZX-10 R and ZX-10 RR, which share the Gen 7 chassis and bodywork. It does not interchange with the 2021 to 2025 lower fairing.

Road Approval

Supplied without any approval document, as a competition part. It belongs on a closed circuit.

Specifications

Brand: Carbonin

Part number: CK26221

Component: Lower fairing (belly pan)

Material: Carbon fibre, prepreg inner skin, autoclave cured

Finish: Plane weave, buffed gloss, no clearcoat

Mounting: Quick-release brackets

Fitment: Kawasaki ZX-10 R / ZX-10 RR (2026)

Road approval: None supplied — closed-course competition use

Intended use: Closed-course competition and track days
