How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

The K6 S was designed with MotoGP technology at its core. The carbon-aramid composite construction — sometimes listed as carbon-aramid-fibre composite — achieves a shell that is both extraordinarily light and exceptionally rigid. AGV produces the shell in four discrete sizes rather than stretching a single mould, meaning the EPS liner geometry is optimised specifically for each head circumference. The five-density EPS configuration directs energy away from the skull in a structured sequence on impact, a philosophy borrowed directly from AGV's racing programme.
Safety details extend beyond the shell: a clavicle protection profile is integrated into the chin bar area, and reflective elements improve low-light conspicuity. The double-D ring closure leaves no ambiguity — the helmet stays on in the event of a crash, regardless of the forces involved.
Aerodynamics and Ventilation
Wind-tunnel refinement is visible in every curve of the K6 S silhouette. An integrated rear spoiler stabilises the helmet at higher speeds and reduces neck fatigue on long motorway runs, while the shell geometry suits both a tucked sport riding position and a more upright touring posture. Five forward-facing vents and one large rear exhaust outlet create active airflow through the EPS and across the liner, keeping the rider cool on demanding sport roads and in urban stop-start traffic alike.
Visor System
The scratch-resistant, optical Class 1 visor ships with the Pinlock MaxVision 120 insert already in the box — no separate purchase required. The panoramic aperture of 190° horizontal and 85° vertical is among the widest available in any road helmet. A patented quick-release mechanism allows tool-free visor swaps in seconds, and a micro-opening position lets the visor breathe at low speed without admitting rain. The visor locks closed for track days or fast road use.
Comfort and Everyday Usability
The DrySpeed inner lining transfers perspiration away from the skin immediately, while the Shalimar fabric against the shell provides a smooth, soft contact surface. Both the cheek pads and the full liner are removable and machine washable. The fit accommodates spectacle wearers thanks to dedicated channels along the temple area, and an emergency cheek-pad removal system allows first responders rapid access should it ever be needed. A nose guard and wind deflector are included in the box.
