DescriptionThe whole story▼

A KTM RC 200 can take its owner a surprisingly long way, and some riders load a small tail pack and head for the hills for a whole weekend. Accossato's AGPA184 front pad in its Sintered mixture fits the RC 200 from 2014 to 2024. It is intended for those who ride far on a small bike, meet showers and cold mornings along the way, and want the lever to keep the same bite whether the day is chilly or warm.

Key Features

  • Front pad set AGPA184 for the KTM RC 200, 2014 to 2024
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA184ST
  • Accossato reports high, uniform grip in cold and in heat
  • Holds its bite when the road is wet
  • Consistent lever on long mountain descents
  • Can stay fitted all year
  • The same plate is made as OR and EV1
  • No ABE on file with us; for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

The manufacturer's statement for this compound is about reliability of feel: grip remains high and uniform at low temperatures and at high ones, and it holds up on wet asphalt. For a small bike on a long ride through changing weather, that uniformity matters a great deal. Accossato also mentions that its pads keep heat in check to limit fade, and that they wear slowly. The Sintered block is bonded to the regular AGPA184 plate.

Long Weekends on a Small Bike

With modest power, a rider on the RC 200 keeps momentum by braking late and lightly. Over a weekend in the mountains that pattern repeats hundreds of times, often downhill and sometimes in drizzle. A pad whose feel stays the same through all of it lets the rider settle into a rhythm and trust the front on every hairpin. On a misty morning the first stop is as confident as the last one of the previous evening.

Before leaving, inspect the pads and disc, and plan to renew old fluid, since damp fluid can soften the lever on long descents. Carrying a small cleaning cloth for the visor is useful; keep it away from the disc.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato names the KTM RC 200 from 2014 to 2024 for AGPA184 in the front position, and AGPP91 for the rear across the same years. No rotor is listed. Work out whether the front uses one caliper or two, and confirm the pad outline against the old set.

Road Approval

AGPA184ST is not accompanied by any ABE or approval papers that we know of, so we sell it for track and competition riding.

Scope of Delivery

One pair of Sintered pads, sufficient for a single caliper.
