Born on the WorldSBK pit wall and proven under the Kawasaki Racing Team, the Puig Downforce Sport Winglets (model 3636) bring genuine race-derived aerodynamic technology to your BMW S1000RR K67 (2019–2022). Generating up to 6 kg of measurable downforce, these winglets transform front-end stability at high speed — giving you the confidence to brake later, accelerate harder, and carry more corner speed on track.

Key Features

  • Up to 6 kg of aerodynamic downforce for dramatically improved front-end grip and traction on the exit of corners
  • Anti-wheelie effect keeps the front wheel planted under hard acceleration, reducing the need for electronic intervention
  • Minimises shimmy and tank-slapper tendencies by optimising front-tyre loading at speed
  • Developed directly from data gathered by the Kawasaki Racing Team in WorldSBK competition
  • Available in black or red to complement the aggressive lines of the S1000RR
  • Robust, race-grade construction engineered to withstand the sustained loads of track use

Race-Derived Aerodynamics in Detail

Winglets are no longer the preserve of factory MotoGP machines. Puig's engineering team worked alongside the Kawasaki Racing Team throughout WorldSBK development to translate that aerodynamic data into a bolt-on package that any serious track rider can fit at home. At the heart of the design is a carefully profiled wing section that generates consistent downforce from the moment you exit the pit lane. The result is a front end that communicates clearly through the bars, stays planted under power, and remains composed when the brakes are applied deep into a braking zone.

Stability, Safety, and Control

The practical gains on track are immediate. Front-end shimmy — that unsettling lateral movement that can appear at high speed on long straights — is significantly reduced as the winglets increase vertical load on the front tyre. Anti-wheelie performance is improved without touching the electronics map, because the aerodynamic pressure keeps the wheel in contact with the tarmac naturally. These are race-use-only components, designed and rated for closed-circuit environments where the performance demands on chassis components are at their most extreme.

Fitment and Compatibility

The Puig Downforce Winglets 3636 are designed specifically for the BMW S1000RR K67, covering the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 model years. Always confirm your model year and variant before ordering.
