The LighTech OBT009 is that bracket — 28.9 mm tall with 31 mm of projection, 10 g. No finish to choose: LighTech lists the OBT009 in black alone. It changes the part of the SV650 the rider looks at most.

Key Features

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

It is the smallest line on the order

Fitting the OBT009 to the SV650 needs hand tools only

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

10 g on the SV650

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. Beyond that the OBT009 asks nothing of you.

Position Is the Point

Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. One bracket per reservoir — the SV650 needs the tank ordered alongside.

Fitment

Fitment is the SV650 across 2016 to 2026. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the SV650 first.

Fitting

Fitting the OBT009 to an SV650 is a hand-tool job. Check steering lock on the SV650 once the tank is in place. Everything removed from the SV650 can go straight back on.

Scope of Delivery

One bracket per package for the SV650. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the SV650.

Before You Order

No reservoir is included with the OBT009. It carries LighTech's reservoir range — OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007, which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the SV650, you need both lines on the order.

Brake System and Road Approval

On an SV650 this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. Nothing in the OBT009 box constitutes a type approval. Ask your inspection body about the SV650 before fitting, and do not skip the bleed.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Suzuki SV650 (2016 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_9802fdf7-c8d4-4a50-9438-c8b08f0286e3.png?v=1791204395
