The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the Panigale 1199 at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. One finish only: black, as LighTech supplies it. Fitting it to a Panigale 1199 is a job of minutes, not hours.

Key Features

Fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007

60.6 mm in height, 90.3 mm of projection

Fitting the OBT008 to the Panigale 1199 needs hand tools only

10 g on the Panigale 1199

Covers the Panigale 1199 across 6 model years (2012 to 2017)

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Mounting It

Installation on the Panigale 1199 needs no special service tool. Check steering lock on the Panigale 1199 once the tank is in place. The OBT008 leaves no trace on the Panigale 1199 if you take it off again.

Position Is the Point

A reservoir that is not held properly is a reservoir that moves. The OBT008 sets the reservoir at 60.6 mm height with 90.3 mm of projection. One bracket per reservoir — the Panigale 1199 needs the tank ordered alongside.

What It Fits

LighTech lists the OBT008 for the Ducati Panigale 1199. It is an adaptable bracket, not a Ducati part — measure the space on the Panigale 1199 first.

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT008. Beyond that the OBT008 asks nothing of you.

The Second Part Number

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries the three LighTech reservoirs (OBT001, OBT006, OBT007), which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the Panigale 1199, you need both lines on the order.

Supplied As

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Road Use and Approval

Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. There is no type approval for the OBT008; we say that plainly rather than bury it. If the Panigale 1199 is used on public roads, treat this as a brake-system modification: inspection body first, workshop check after.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati Panigale 1199 (2012 to 2017)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_229358db-5497-4cfd-b992-73cee272930b.png?v=1791204809
https://inter-pace.com/en-ml/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-ducati-panigale-1199-2012-2017-obt008
