The F4 RR takes the JP PD MV002 as its right-hand switch, milled from Ergal 7075 on a universal clamp pattern.

Built Without a Price Ceiling
Titanium connecting rods, a lightened crankshaft, higher compression and Öhlins suspension front and rear, with electronically adjustable damping on later examples. The RR is the F4 as MV would always have built it if the accountants had been looking elsewhere.
Two Hundred and One Horsepower
From a naturally aspirated 998 cc four with radial valves, delivered with a peakiness that modern superbikes have largely engineered away. It rewards a rider who is precise and punishes one who is not, which is part of the appeal.
A Cockpit With Gold In It
Öhlins fork tops, and on some examples a carbon front mudguard directly in the rider's eyeline. Against those, a moulded plastic switch housing is the component that undercuts the impression every time the rider looks down.
Where the Brake Sits
The switch shares its mounting bolts with the front master cylinder clamp. RRs are frequently fitted with remote-adjust cylinders for track use, and those rarely match MV's original bolt spacing. The universal plate accepts either.
Ten Model Years
The fitment spans 2011 to 2015 across the RR's production. MV revised the specification more than once in that period without altering the handlebar architecture, which is why one part covers the whole run.
Three Finishes
Black, red and titanium. Titanium sits closest to the anodised gold of the suspension without attempting to match it, which on this particular motorcycle is generally the better answer than red.
Sealed and Machined
One block of Ergal 7075 with sealed switch elements. There is no clipped joint to develop play at the revs this engine reaches and no moulded seam for water to enter during a wet session.
