DescriptionThe whole story▼
Built for the Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 SP (2026), the JP ACC DU020 short-stroke throttle grip shortens the ride-by-wire rotation to 60 degrees. The Ergal body is machined from solid stock, giving the SP's more track-oriented riding a throttle that opens and closes faster without losing the factory feel.
Key Features
- Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 SP (2026)
- Ride-by-wire quick throttle, no cable conversion involved
- Solid-machined Ergal housing, rigid and light
- 60-degree end-to-end rotation, down from the stock throttle
- Feel and sensitivity calibrated to mirror the cable throttle
- Fitment engineered specifically for the SP version of this bike
Faster Throttle Transitions
Cutting rotation to 60 degrees means less twisting between a closed and fully open throttle. On a bike set up for committed, fast-paced riding, that shorter arc lets the rider open or shut the gas more quickly without changing hand position on the grip.
One Block of Ergal
Rather than being cast, the grip body is machined from a single piece of solid Ergal. That construction keeps the part stiff and light at the same time, so it holds its shape under the repeated twisting a quick throttle sees on a bike ridden hard.
Still a Cable-Throttle Feel
Even though the signal is sent electronically rather than through a cable, JetPrime tuned the throttle's response curve to match a traditional cable unit. The shortened rotation changes how far the rider has to twist, not how the throttle feels under the hand.
Matched to the SP's Track-Leaning Setup
The Hypermotard V2 890 SP carries the more track-oriented specification within the Hypermotard range, and riders pushing it hard benefit from a throttle that reacts as quickly as the rest of the bike. The shorter rotation suits the faster, more deliberate inputs that style of riding calls for.
Built Only for This Variant
This throttle grip is engineered around the Hypermotard V2 890 SP specifically, not adapted from the standard model. JetPrime matches the electronics and connectors of the SP so installation is a straightforward swap for the factory part, with nothing to rewire.
