DescriptionThe whole story▼
If your Ducati Panigale 1299 or 1299S sees regular hard use — whether that means spirited road riding or track days — consistent brake performance under heat is non-negotiable. The CNC Racing GP Air Ducts Evo delivers exactly that: a direct-fit caliper cooling system that channels fresh air onto the front brake calipers, keeping temperatures in check so your brake pads, fluid and feel remain dependable lap after lap, or mile after mile.
Key Features
- Autoclave-manufactured plain-weave carbon ducts with Kevlar reinforcement — ultralight, structurally rigid and heat-resistant by design.
- Targeted airflow directed onto the front brake calipers reduces pad and fluid temperatures significantly, preserving a firm, consistent lever feel and minimising fade.
- CNC-machined anodised aluminium brackets in your choice of black, gold or red add a purposeful visual accent alongside the exposed carbon weave.
- Plug-and-play installation with no drilling, cutting or permanent modification to the motorcycle — a straightforward upgrade for road and track alike.
- Supplied as a complete kit with all mounting hardware included, so you can fit and ride the same day.
- Available in three part numbers to match your preferred colour: ZA750YB (black), ZA750YG (gold), ZA750YR (red).
Performance on Road and Track
Brake fade is not just a track problem. On a long mountain pass or during repeated hard stops in traffic, caliper temperatures can climb enough to affect pedal and lever feel. The GP Air Ducts Evo addresses this at the source by routing cooling air directly to the caliper body. The result is a more stable pressure point and greater confidence under repeated heavy braking, without requiring any changes to your existing brake setup.
For track riders, the benefit is even more pronounced. Repeated high-speed braking generates substantial heat. By keeping caliper temperatures lower, the Evo system helps maintain consistent braking distances and a predictable feel throughout a session, reducing the need to adjust your braking points as the brakes come up to temperature.
Construction and Finish
Each duct is produced in an autoclave using plain-weave carbon fibre with an integrated Kevlar layer. This construction method ensures uniform resin distribution and fibre consolidation, producing a component that is both lighter and stronger than hand-laid alternatives. The exposed plain carbon finish is available in gloss or matte, letting you match the aesthetic of your Panigale's existing carbon trim. The anodised aluminium brackets are machined in-house by CNC Racing and finished in black, gold or red to complement or contrast the bodywork as you prefer.
Fitment and Compatibility
The GP Air Ducts Evo ZA750Y is designed specifically for the following models:
- Ducati Panigale 1299 (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)
- Ducati Panigale 1299S (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)
No drilling or modification to the motorcycle is required. The kit is a direct, plug-and-play fitment using the supplied hardware.
