DescriptionThe whole story▼
In the final rounds of a close championship, a Suzuki SV650 racer looks for every detail that might gain a tenth of a second. Accossato lists its AGPA95 front pad for SV650 versions from 1999 to 2021, including the SV 650 S with ABS, and in the ZXC ceramic racing compound it is sold as SKU AGPA95ZXC. It is a specialist option for riders and teams who are prepared to test a ceramic racing pad during practice and judge it against their own reference.

- Accossato: a ceramic compound ideal for racing
- For championship-level SV650 racers
- For testing in practice sessions
- A specialist choice for the race bike
- OR, ST, EV1 and EV2 are alternatives
- No ABE on file; competition use only
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls ZXC ceramic racing a ceramic mixture that is ideal for racing. It is the specialist compound in the range for this pad and has no place on the road. Like all of the brand's pads, it is designed with slow wear, controlled heat and powerful braking in mind.
Chasing Tenths
At the sharp end of a championship, riders know their bikes intimately. They can feel whether a compound bites a little earlier or holds its effect a little longer at the end of a session. Testing ZXC in practice against the pad they normally use gives them a direct comparison.
Whether it suits a particular rider depends on style and circuit, which is why a structured test is worth the time.
Testing Properly
Change only one thing at a time, bed the new pads in properly and compare lap times and the rider's feedback. Keep the used pads from each test labelled so you can compare wear.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA95 entry in Accossato's catalogue lists the SV 650 S (1999 to 2002, 2003 to 2012), the SV 650 S with ABS (2007 to 2018) and the SV 650 (2016 to 2021). With AGPA94 catalogued for many of the same bikes, check the pads on your racer before ordering. Each of the two front calipers needs a box.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval for AGPA95ZXC, so it is supplied exclusively for racing.
