DescriptionThe whole story▼
Spring and autumn rounds of a motocross championship are often run on soaked tracks, and on a two-stroke 250 the rear brake is in use almost all the time. The TM Racing MX 250 2T from 2005 to 2025 takes Accossato's AGPP106 rear pad, and this box holds the Sintered compound. It suits riders who race the whole calendar and want the rear pedal to feel the same in March drizzle and August heat.
Key Features
- Rear pad AGPP106 for the TM Racing MX 250 2T, 2005 to 2025
- Sintered compound, article AGPP106ST
- Accossato: grip stays high and even, cold or hot
- Keeps biting on a wet disc
- One pedal feel across the calendar
- Alternatives: OR and STMX
- One set for the rear caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato explains that the Sintered compound keeps its grip high and even across low and high temperatures and continues to bite when the disc is wet. For a race rear brake, that consistency is the point: the rider does not have to relearn the pedal when the weather changes between rounds. The maker also cites long pad life and controlled heating.
A Full Season of Racing
A racing season on the MX 250 two-stroke may start with a frosty practice session and end on a muddy, rain-soaked track. In between come dry summer rounds where the rear brake gets hot from dragging. A sintered rear pad is made to behave similarly across that whole spread, so the braking points and the pressure the rider uses stay familiar. That is especially useful on slippery downhills, where too much rear brake locks the wheel and too little lets the bike run on. If the track is more sand or sticky clay than water, STMX is the dedicated off-road compound on the plate, and OR is kinder to the disc on dry ground.
Drying Out
After a wet round, rinse the rear caliper with a gentle stream of water, let it dry fully and check that no grit is lodged between pad and disc before the bike goes into storage.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's catalogue places AGPP106 at the rear of the TM Racing MX 250 two-stroke from 2005 through 2025. The matching front pad for this model is AGPA29, listed from 2001. No rear pad is given for the model years before 2005.
Road Approval
AGPP106ST is supplied without an ABE, as no approval papers are available to us; it is intended for sport use off public roads.
Scope of Delivery
Two Sintered rear pads for one MX 250 caliper.
