DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Yamaha YZ250FX is the cross-country sibling of the motocross YZ250F, built for forest loops, long hare scrambles and trail riding on closed land. For its front brake from 2015 to 2021, Accossato offers the AGPA110 pad, and this version uses the Organic (OR) compound. It suits riders who spend relaxed days exploring tracks, who value a smooth lever on cold mornings, and who would rather the pads did the wearing than the disc.
Key Features
- Front pad set for the Yamaha YZ250FX, 2015 to 2021
- AGPA110 shape in the Organic (OR) compound, item AGPA110OR
- Accossato stresses durable performance and a disc-friendly material
- Smooth, easy-to-dose bite on slow, technical trail sections
- One box holds two pads, the set for the single front caliper
- ST and STMX variants of this pad are also catalogued
- No German ABE available; intended for closed-course use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's organic friction material is formulated to give long-lasting performance while limiting wear on the brake disc. On a cross-country bike such as the YZ250FX that combination helps on long rides with plenty of gentle braking, where a softer compound keeps the rotor in good shape for many seasons. Accossato also designs its pads to avoid heat build-up, limiting fade, and to wear slowly. The box contains a pair of pads for one caliper.
Slow Trails and Technical Sections
Much of a trail day on a YZ250FX happens at walking pace: picking a line over roots, easing down a rocky step, creeping along a tight woodland path. In those moments the front brake is feathered rather than squeezed, and an organic pad that responds progressively and quietly makes that finesse easier. It does not need heat to work well, which suits a bike that rarely gets its brakes really hot on a leisurely ride. Riders who race cross-country in the wet will probably prefer the ST or STMX version of the same pad.
Trailside Checks
Carry a quick look at the pads into your pre-ride routine: check the remaining friction material through the caliper opening and inspect the disc for gouges from stones. When changing pads, clean the pistons before pushing them back, keep the rotor free of oil and pump the lever afterwards until it feels firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA110 for the front of the Yamaha YZ250FX from 2015 to 2021. For the 2025 model it names the AGPA288 at the front, while no Accossato front pad is listed for the YZ250FX from 2022 to 2024. At the rear, the AGPP106 covers 2015 to 2021. The DK168 and DK268 discs are listed for this bike.
Road Approval
The YZ250FX is a competition machine, and we have no approval documents or German ABE for this pad. It is offered for off-road competition and private land.
Scope of Delivery
Two organic front pads in one box for the single front caliper of the YZ250FX.
