DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit is known as a strong, comfortable all-rounder, and many owners use it as a daily bike for commuting and weekend rides. AGPA75 in the Organic (OR) mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSF1250 Bandit from 2007 to 2018. It suits riders who spend most of their time on town roads and ring roads and want a smooth, quiet front brake that is gentle on the discs.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit, 2007 to 2018
  • Organic compound, SKU AGPA75OR
  • Long life and low disc wear, per Accossato
  • Quiet in daily traffic
  • Works well from cold
  • Rear pad listed: AGPP88
  • Sintered, EV1 and EV2 on the same plate
  • No German ABE on file; track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the Organic compound as lasting well and limiting disc wear. On a heavy four-cylinder bike used daily, keeping the discs in good condition saves money over time. The company also mentions strong stopping power and temperatures that stay under control.

The Bandit as a Daily Bike

A GSF1250 Bandit in daily use covers many short trips in traffic, with frequent gentle stops. The brakes rarely get hot, and an organic pad works well from the first stop of the day. The Bandit is a heavy bike, so a smooth, progressive squeeze on the lever keeps it calm and avoids a sudden dive of the fork. For riders who carry a pillion on short trips, the same progressive feel helps to brake without unsettling the passenger.

Keep the discs clean, look at the pads through the calipers every few weeks and replace the brake fluid at the recommended interval. When fitting new pads, clean the pistons before you push them back, and pump the lever until it is firm before riding.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA75 for the GSF1250 Bandit from 2007 to 2018. The versions named are the GSF 1250 Bandit, the Bandit A, the Bandit S and the GSF 1250 F Bandit. The Bandit has two front calipers, so two boxes are needed for a full front change. The rear pad is AGPP88. The same front plate is also available as Sintered, EV1 and EV2.

Road Approval

We hold no ABE or German test certificate for AGPA75OR. It is supplied for racing and track use.
