DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Husqvarna FC 350 answers a question motocross riders have argued about for years: what belongs between a 250 and a 450? A 350 four-stroke revs almost as freely as the smaller bike, yet it pulls with far more authority out of a slow turn, and in most championships it lines up alongside the 450s. The FC 350s of 2014 and 2015 are more than ten years old now, and many are still raced and ridden hard. For those two model years, Accossato offers enlarged footpegs in Ergal, in six colours.
Key Features
- Enlarged Accossato footpegs for the Husqvarna FC 350, model years 2014 and 2015
- Made of Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy
- More room under the boot for riding a mid-size four-stroke standing up
- Intended for motocross, enduro and off-road use
- Six colours: orange, blue, green, black, red and Titanium
- Left and right peg in one set
- Later FC 350 model years have their own Accossato sets
- No German ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's own wording for this part is short: enlarged footpegs made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a strong aluminium alloy, and the enlarged shape is the whole idea, giving the sole of the boot more to stand on than a smaller peg would. The set consists of one peg for the left side and one for the right. You choose the colour as the variant, and for the FC 350 of 2014 and 2015 the list is long: orange, blue, green, black, red or Titanium.
Between the 250 and the 450
The appeal of a 350 lies in the way it is ridden. A 450 lets its rider short-shift and surf on the torque, while a 250 has to be kept spinning, with clutch and gearbox busy all the time. The FC 350 sits in between. Most riders use more revs than they would on a 450, carry speed into the turns rather than blasting out of them, and still have enough drive to clear a jump that follows a slow corner. It suits riders who find a 450 tiring over a full moto but want more pull than a 250 can give.
That style puts a lot of weight through the feet. Carrying corner speed means standing up early on the exit, leaning on the outside peg across choppy ground and moving the body forwards and backwards over the bike as the track rises and falls. The left foot also has to find the gear lever more often than it would on a 450. A broader peg gives the boot a steadier base for all of this movement, which matters most late in a race, when the legs are tired and every small slip costs time on the FC 350.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato splits the FC 350 into three model-year groups, and the FR795 belongs to the first of them, 2014 and 2015. For the 2016–2022 bikes the list names the FR798, for 2023–2026 the FR809, and each set has its own colour range. Please check the model year of your FC 350 before you order, compare the photos and colours, and ask us if something does not add up. The identical FR795 is also listed for the FC 450, the FE 350 and the TE 300.
Road Approval
No ABE or other approval document has reached us for these footpegs, so we list them for motocross and other competition use.
