DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Rivale's unusual, upright stance gives it bodywork panels that sit a little differently to a conventional naked, and a scuff on one of those panels is a harder repair to source given just how few Rivale examples were actually ever built in period. For the Rivale 800 made between 2013 and 2018, Accossato's TP026 crash pads give that distinctive bodywork a cheaper line of defence, with a coloured anodised insert you pick yourself to suit the bike.

Key Features

  • Crash pads for the MV Agusta Rivale 800, 2013 to 2018
  • Accossato part TP026, two pads in the pack, one per side
  • CNC-machined aluminium body with a colour-anodised insert
  • Insert available in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold
  • Optional matching screw cover in the same insert colour
  • Fitting may call for drilling on some applications
  • Pairs with the PF045 front axle sliders for the same Rivale 800
  • No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

A CNC tool shapes the TP026's aluminium body before the anodised insert goes in, in whichever colour is picked, so the hue sits in the metal itself rather than as a layer of paint. Add the matching screw cover for a tidier look if preferred. Two pads make up the pack, and Accossato's own paperwork doesn't settle whether further hardware beyond the pads is part of the box.

Bodywork That's Hard to Replace

Because the Rivale sold in genuinely smaller numbers than most of MV's wider range, a chipped or cracked panel on one is a noticeably harder repair to source than the same damage on a Brutale or an F3 would ever be. A crash pad fitted early means the first low-speed tip-over scuffs a replaceable aluminium edge instead of bodywork that might take weeks to track down. Check with us before ordering whether drilling is needed on your particular Rivale 800, since Accossato's own list doesn't name every affected year.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's application covers the Rivale 800 across 2013 to 2018; confirm your exact year carefully before placing an order. This same crash pad crosses over into the Brutale 675, the Brutale 800, the Stradale 800 and the Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800 too, well beyond MV's own crossover line entirely.

Road Approval

There is no German ABE or comparable approval paperwork for the TP026, so Inter-Pace offers this pair for racing and competition use on the Rivale 800, not for ordinary road use.

Scope of Delivery

Two CNC-machined aluminium crash pads with your chosen insert colour, plus a matching screw cover if that option is added.
