The championship system with the manifold in titanium. Spark builds its Konix Evo kit for the ZX-4RR two ways — AISI 304 stainless at 1,536 euro, titanium at 2,214 — and this is the lighter half of that choice.
Key Features
- Racing full system for the Kawasaki ZX-4RR.
- Titanium 4-2-1 collector with CNC-machined connections.
- Konix Evo silencer, fully titanium including the inner end cap.
- Carbon end cap designed with a Maranello style centre.
- Mounting kit with chassis hanger and passenger-footpeg hanger.
- Racing part, not approved for road use.
Six Hundred and Seventy-Eight Euro of Titanium
That is the gap to the stainless version, GKA8850T, and the manifold is the only thing that changes. Silencer, connections, mounting kit and geometry are shared.
Whether it is worth it depends on what the bike is for. On a machine that gets weighed at scrutineering, or one where the owner is chasing every kilo out of a 400, titanium in the longest and heaviest section of the system is the obvious place to spend. On a track-day bike it is a preference.
The System That Won the Trophy
Spark's Konix Evo kit for this motorcycle was chosen to equip every ZX-4RR in the 2024 Kawasaki British Superteen Championship, run within the BSB. That is a one-make series, so the exhaust was not competing against alternatives — it was the specification.
What it does tell you is that the design passed a season of identical machines under one set of eyes, which is a harder test of consistency than of outright performance.
A Silencer Drawn in Maranello
Spark had the Konix Evo's carbon end cap designed in collaboration with a style centre in Maranello, and says so plainly. The case is entirely titanium — sleeve and inner end cap both — and its volume is what lets the silencer meet the noise level imposed on British circuits.
The dB killer is not in the box. It is a separate article, G9999, and worth ordering with the system if your events measure.
Four Into Two Into One
The collector is a 4-2-1 layout with diameters and tapers Spark designed and tested for this engine rather than scaling from a larger one. The connections are machined from solid and the compensators are sized rather than off-the-shelf — Spark attributes both details to its Superbike and Moto2 programmes.
Installation
Full system: the standard 4-2-1 exhaust comes off entirely. Spark's mounting kit includes the hanger to the chassis for race use and a separate hanger that keeps the passenger footpeg, so the system can be fitted to a standard motorcycle without stripping the rear.
Fitment & Compatibility
Kawasaki ZX-4RR, 2023 to 2026. The same system with a stainless collector is GKA8850T. The Force Evo alternatives are GKA8852T at 105 dB and GKA8855T at 98 dB, and the unrestricted Grid-O system is GKA8851T. The titanium collector on its own is GKA8851, the Konix Evo silencer group GKA8850ST.
Road Approval
None. Spark lists this article as not approved. Closed course only.
