DescriptionThe whole story▼

The cover on the left of the engine, over the front sprocket. On a faired motorcycle it lives behind a flank. On a Brutale it is part of the silhouette, level with the rider's boot and visible to anyone standing beside the bike.

Key Features

  • Front sprocket cover in the standard shape
  • Original fixings into the engine case
  • Autoclave-cured carbon, four versions
  • MV Agusta Brutale 800, 2015 to 2026

Visible, and Therefore Worth the Right Surface

This cover collects chain fling faster than anything else on the motorcycle, and on a naked bike everyone can see the result. Matt and raw disguise the film; a clear-coated cover shows it within a few hundred kilometres of a fresh lubrication.

It also comes off more often than any other carbon part here, because every sprocket change and every countershaft seal goes through it. Its fasteners thread into aluminium, so torque them to the manual figure rather than by feel.

Nothing behind the cover is touched by the swap. Sprocket, chain and countershaft seal stay exactly as they are, and the change takes a few minutes with the bike on a stand.

Fitment and Compatibility

MV Agusta Brutale 800, 2015 to 2026. Also listed for the F3 675 and the F3 800, which share the engine case.

Road Approval

No road-traffic approval is documented by the manufacturer for this cover. It sits on the engine case; have the fit confirmed by a workshop if anything looks wrong.
