Those are numbers a slip-on cannot produce on this machine — the Akrapovic Racing Line (Titanium) S-H11R3-WT replaces the whole system, and the price of that performance is the road approval.

Why This System Gains So Much

The standard Africa Twin exhaust weighs over ten kilograms and carries a catalytic converter sized to pass Euro 5 on a 1,084 cc twin. Removing the whole assembly recovers what the emissions hardware costs, and on this engine that turns out to be 8.7 PS and 7.1 Nm. Peak power moves from 92.6 PS to 101.5 PS.

Almost five kilograms leaving a bike that already weighs 226 kg is felt everywhere: on the sidestand, on a rutted climb, and every time the machine is picked up off its side.

Two Practical Notes

Akrapovic states that the Honda centre stand, the engine guard and the pannier stays all remain compatible. That is rare on a racing system and it is the reason this exhaust is realistic for a bike that still gets ridden to places.

On Euro 5+ machines with two lambda sensors, the engine check light will come on once the ECU detects a deviation in the stock catalytic converter's parameters. That is expected behaviour with this system, not a fault.

Fitment and Compatibility

S-H11R3-WT covers the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin from model year 2020 through 2026. The Adventure Sports version uses a different part number. Installation takes about an hour.

None. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use. It is a track and closed-course part, and fitting it to a road-registered motorcycle is the owner's legal responsibility.
