DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the 2022 model year, Fantic Motor's XXF 450 takes Accossato's AGA0264 brake hose kit, supplied as two braided hoses built to Standard layout. The kit swaps in for the factory rubber brake line without changing how the line is routed across the bike, covering only this specific production year.
Key Features
- Braided brake hose kit for the Fantic Motor XXF 450, 2022 only
- Standard layout, following the factory hose routing
- Kit supplied as 2 braided hoses
- Stainless steel fittings throughout
- Sheath available in 20 colours
- Direct replacement for the factory rubber brake line on this specific model year
- Aeronautical-grade braid construction
Construction and Material Quality
The two hoses in the AGA0264 use an aeronautical-grade stainless-steel braid over the core, which stretches less under brake pressure than the rubber hose it is built to replace, specifically for the 2022 XXF 450. Stainless steel is the only fitting finish Accossato offers on this kit, with no painted version available. The 20-colour sheath range is the one point of choice left to the buyer, since both fittings are fixed in appearance.
Standard Layout and Hose Routing
Standard layout on the 2022 XXF 450 means each braided hose follows the same path as the rubber line it replaces, running from the master cylinder to its caliper without any new routing. The circuit's two separate lines are why two hoses, rather than one, make up this kit. Fitting the braided hoses in place of the rubber originals is a direct swap at each connection, after which the brake system must be filled and bled so that no trapped air is left softening the lever.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGA0264 for the Fantic Motor XXF 450 for the 2022 model year specifically, in the Standard layout covered above; a separate kit, the AGA0279, is built for the XXF 450 across 2023 to 2025 instead, supplied as a single braided hose rather than two, so riders need to check which model year their bike falls into before choosing between the two parts. The AGA0264 also fits the Fantic Motor XEF 250, XEF 450 and XXF 250 across their own year ranges; see the fitment tab for each.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the AGA0264, so this kit is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
This kit includes 2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Banjo bolts and sealing washers are not confirmed as included, so check the existing hardware on the bike before fitting.
