A steady pull fills a mat evenly

Where the draw pulses, loading concentrates wherever the airflow crowds first, and parts of the material end up doing more of the work than the rest. Where it is continuous, the load spreads across the whole face and down into the depth of the mat more uniformly. Care and cleaning

Use compressed air on the clean side, working outward so the load leaves the mat rather than being driven deeper into it. When a season has left more than air will move, lukewarm water and a mild detergent will clear the SM284P14; rinse until the water runs clean.
