Choosing by the Numbers

Spark publishes measured levels for both silencers on this link pipe, at the same engine speed. The Konix Evo reads 106 dB open and 99 dB with the plug. This Force Evo reads 100 dB open and 94 dB with it.

At list price the two kits are identical, so the decision is entirely about noise and appearance. A circuit with a 102 dB limit takes this one straight out of the box and rejects the other. A circuit with no limit makes the choice a matter of taste. Very few purchases in this catalogue come with the answer printed on the manufacturer's own page.

The Ribbed Case

The Force Evo is the evolution of Spark's long-serving Force silencer. Spark describes it as titanium with elegant ribbing that converges toward the carbon fibre end cap — the rib runs the length of the sleeve and resolves into the end cap's lines rather than stopping short of it.

It is a styling decision that also happens to stiffen a thin titanium sleeve, and it is the visual difference between this kit and the Konix Evo version. Both use the same stainless link pipe and the same carbon heat shield.

What It Mounts To

Spark sets the rule by model year. Up to MY2022 this kit fits either the original manifold or Spark's GTR8502 racing manifold. From MY2023 it must be combined with the GTR8502 manifold and the SKIT112 mounting parts.

The passenger footrests cannot be retained in either case. If the pillion seat has to stay usable, the homologated GTR0507TOM half system is the one that keeps it.

Fitment & Compatibility

Triumph Street Triple 765 R, RS and S, 2020 through 2026. The 400 mm Force Evo version of the same kit is GTR0511T; with the Konix Evo it is GTR0509T. The dB killer is G9999. From MY2023, GTR8502 and SKIT112 are required.

Road Approval

None. No EC certificate, and the kit replaces the standard silenced section without a catalytic converter.
