DescriptionThe whole story▼
Where the non-ABS 899 needs only four hoses, the ABS-equipped version of the same Ducati, built between 2014 and 2016, runs a slightly larger circuit through its anti-lock module, so this braided kit grows to five hoses while keeping the Standard routing the factory specified. The extra hose simply reflects the additional connection point the ABS hardware introduces into the brake line, with no change to the two calipers the circuit ultimately feeds, front and rear.
Key Features
- Five-hose set for the ABS Panigale 899, Standard (S) layout matching the stock routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Covers the full ABS brake circuit
- Less hose expansion under hard use than the original rubber lines
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
Every hose on this ABS kit shares its build with the non-ABS version of the same bike: stainless weave over the pressure line, ending in plain, uncoloured stainless fittings. Running to five hoses rather than four changes nothing about the finish on offer, so the complete twenty-colour sheath range is available here exactly as it is on the simpler kit.
One Extra Hose for the ABS Module
The difference between this kit and the four-hose version Accossato lists for the non-ABS 899 comes down entirely to the ABS module sitting in the circuit between the master cylinder and the calipers; each additional connection point needs its own braided section. The routing itself still follows the Standard pattern Ducati used at the factory on both versions of the bike, so no part of the circuit takes an unusual path through the frame regardless of which version is being fitted.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is built for the ABS version of the Ducati Panigale 899, sold between 2014 and 2016. The non-ABS 899 of the same years uses Accossato's four-hose kit, AGA0064, instead; check which brake system is fitted to your own bike before ordering, confirm the exact year against the Fitment tab, and note that the two kits are not interchangeable between ABS and non-ABS machines.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
5 braided hoses for the Standard layout, ABS. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
