Replacement parts come from the same production as the components they go into. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number.

Why the Original

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 05961-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number. Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05961-01

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05961-01_bf4a1ee1-945c-4585-880e-3380eadff906.png?v=1788874745
