A Single Model Year
This fitment covers the 2026 R. Homologation specials change frequently and their cockpit assemblies change with them, so the year is the first thing to confirm.
Both Master Cylinders
The universal slots fit the original clamp and the radial units. An R being prepared for competition has invariably had its brake assembly changed before anything else.
Reachable With a Full Grip
Braking from three hundred, the right hand cannot be relaxed for anything. The race layout exists so the controls that remain can be operated without letting go of the lever.
Hot Water, Every Outing
An R lives at circuits and meets a pressure washer twenty minutes after each session. Sealed elements inside a machined body remove the joint the jet finds on a moulded one.
Apart and Together
A race bike is stripped between rounds as a matter of routine. A body cut from solid takes that indefinitely; a moulded one with clips does not.
Standard Refits Quickly
Nothing spliced. On a homologation special that will eventually be sold to somebody who cares about originality, an untouched loom is worth real money.
Built to a Rulebook
The R exists so Ducati can race the Panigale in World Superbike. Its capacity, its internals and its aerodynamics are answers to regulations rather than to a marketing department.
Nine Hundred and Ninety-Eight Cubic Centimetres
Under the class limit, reached by shortening the Stradale's stroke. Everything unusual about the R follows from making that engine survive the revs the short stroke allows.
A Chassis Built to Flex
The current front frame is deliberately less laterally rigid than its predecessor, because racing data showed a controlled amount of give improves feel at full lean.
