The JP CJP 072C is the more capable and more demanding of JetPrime's two fuel units for the 1290 Superduke GT, and it does nothing at all without a wideband and some patience.

Luggage on the Beast
KTM added panniers and a screen to the big twin and changed nothing about how it delivers its power, which makes for an unusual touring bike.
The Original Electronics Are Untouched
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, traction control and every riding mode stay with the standard controller. This unit manages fuel quantity and has no access to anything else.
Resolution Matters
A map with too few cells forces the unit to interpolate across large gaps, and the engine feels it. Enough resolution is what makes small, local corrections possible at all.

Sharing Between Owners
A map from an identical machine is a starting point worth having and a finishing point worth avoiding. Engines vary, sensors vary and exhausts are never quite the same.

Backups Off the Laptop
Copy the good maps somewhere else. Laptops in paddocks get dropped, rained on and left behind, and a map is easier to lose than to recreate.
Who Should Not
Anybody hoping to plug something in and feel a difference on the way home. That expectation belongs to the other unit and it is met there.
What Changes on the Road
Nothing dramatic. The hesitation off a closed throttle disappears, the surge at a steady speed goes, and the engine answers the same way on every corner exit. Good mapping is felt as an absence.
