Spark builds this 2-in-1 system for the Scrambler 1200 in two versions. This is the racing one: stainless collector, Evo V silencer, and no catalytic converter in between.
Key Features
- Racing 2-in-1 full system for the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE, 2019 to 2023.
- AISI stainless steel collector with an Evo V silencer.
- No catalytic converter — the reason this version is not approved.
- 143 euro less than the homologated build.
- No road approval — closed-circuit use only.
- Made by Spark in Mantova, Italy.
The Difference Between the Two
Spark's price list describes the two builds in a single word of difference. The homologated GTR8810IOM reads collector plus KAT plus silencer; this one reads collector plus silencer. The catalytic converter is what separates them, and with it goes the approval.
That also explains the price: 1.274 euro here against 1.417 for the approved system. A catalytic converter is an expensive component, and leaving it out makes the racing version the cheaper of the two rather than the dearer.
What the 2-in-1 Layout Does
Both headers merge into one pipe and one silencer. On a 270-degree parallel twin the merge is where the character comes from — two uneven pulses arriving in the same chamber is what produces the offbeat note the Scrambler is bought for.
Why Stainless and Not Titanium
A Scrambler 1200 XE has 250 mm of suspension travel and a bash plate, and it is bought by people who intend to use both. Stainless survives what titanium does not: a stone through the header run, a rock against the silencer, and salt through a winter.
It can also be polished back after a scrape, which thin titanium cannot.
Track and Off-Road Use Only
Without the catalytic converter this system carries no homologation. It must not be fitted to a motorcycle used on public roads, and no insert or adjustment changes that.
If the Scrambler is registered and ridden on the road, the article you want is GTR8810IOM, which keeps the catalyst and comes with an EC certificate.
Which Scramblers
The XC and the XE from 2019 to 2023. Triumph gives the two models different suspension and wheel sizes but the same exhaust routing, so one system number serves both.
No Photograph
Spark has no article page for this number and publishes no picture of it. Everything stated here comes from the manufacturer's own 2026 dealer price list, and we would rather show you nothing than a photograph of a different article.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE, 2019 to 2023. The homologated version with catalytic converter is GTR8810IOM at 1.417 euro.
Road Approval
None. Spark lists this system as racing; it has no catalytic converter and must not be fitted to a motorcycle ridden on public roads.
