Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry.

Key Features

Dimension A 9.7 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 01045-01

Dimension B 15 mm

Dimension C 1 mm

Function

At 9.7 mm, 15 mm, 1 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk. Washers spread load and set clearance; in a damper both of those are specifications.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 01045-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 9.7 mm, dimension b 15 mm, dimension c 1 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01045-01

Category: Washers

Dimension A: 9.7 mm

Dimension B: 15 mm

Dimension C: 1 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01045-01_19bd5909-a596-45a6-9196-b918efc1d1cb.png?v=1788873010
