Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 21010-07 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 106 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21010-07

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 106 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21010-07_a896b106-1a7c-4626-929f-6dac7b45a484.png?v=1788879266
