The MY004 fits Accossato's quick-throttle housing with the GR002 grip for the Suzuki GSX-R1000 built between 2009 and 2016, and includes the matched SU004 cable set along with three interchangeable inner cams. The GR002 is supplied without a separate grip colour choice, unlike the one-tone GR001 or two-toned GR006 used on the other two kits for this GSX-R1000, so only the cap finish is selected when ordering.

Construction and Material Quality
The two-half-ring aluminium housing and eight cap colours are common to every kit in Accossato's quick-throttle range, the MY004 included. The GR002 grip fitted to it is listed without the colour options available on the GR001 or GR006, leaving cap finish as the only choice at order time. Three inner cams at 40, 43 and 45 mm are included, with a larger cam giving a quicker throttle and longer rotation stroke of the grip according to Accossato, and a smaller one the reverse. The SU004 cable supplied is cut specifically for this GSX-R1000 generation.
Fitting Alongside the GSX-R1000's Own Cable History
Riders converting a pre-2017 GSX-R1000 to an Accossato quick-throttle are, in effect, retiring the factory cable run in favour of the SU004 set bundled with this kit, a part also sold on its own for anyone doing the swap with an existing Accossato control. Buying the MY004 as a complete kit sidesteps having to check beforehand whether the stand-alone SU004 cable and a separately sourced housing would actually be compatible, since Accossato supplies them matched from the outset. The only choice left to make is the cap colour, since the GR002 grip itself is not offered in alternatives the way the GR001 or GR006 are on the other two kits for this bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit is built for the pre-2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000, covering bikes from 2009 through 2016 under the bundled SU004 cable; the GSX-R1000 introduced afterwards needs the separate kit built around the SU008 cable instead, listed on the Fitment tab. Fitting it replaces the Suzuki's factory throttle control and cable together.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY004; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. After fitting, confirm that the throttle returns to idle by itself through its full range before riding the bike.
