DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Yamaha YZ250 on a heavy clay track after a night of rain is about as hard a test as a front brake can face. For the YZ250 of 2008 to 2021, Accossato offers the AGPA110 front pad in its Off-road sintered compound, SKU AGPA110STMX. It is aimed at riders who race or train hard in those conditions, where mud packs around the caliper and water reaches the disc on every lap, and who need a pad made specifically for dirt.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato designs the STMX compound for off-road riding, and AGPA110STMX is the dirt version of this front pad for the YZ250. Accossato's general statements cover slow wear, fade resistance through limited heat build-up and strong stopping power. We do not describe the materials.
Heavy Clay After the Rain
After rain, a clay track becomes heavy and sticky. Mud builds up around the fork legs, the caliper and the wheel, and every lap adds more. On a YZ250 in those conditions, the STMX front pad is the specialist choice. Between motos, clear packed mud from around the caliper if you can. After the event, wash the bike carefully with low pressure around the brakes, let everything dry and measure the pad thickness, because clay and grit shorten pad life. For dry practice, OR is gentler; for mixed trail days, ST. Some riders fit a fresh set before a known mud race and keep the part-worn set for practice afterwards.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's front listing for the Yamaha YZ250 names AGPA110 from 2008 to 2021, available in STMX, and AGPA288 from 2021 to 2026. A 2021 bike appears under both, so compare the old pads first. The single front caliper takes one box. For the rear of the YZ250, AGPP106 is listed for 2003 to 2026, also in STMX, together with the discs DK111 and DK168. Dried clay inside the caliper should come out before the pistons are pushed back, or it can damage the seals.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or approval certificate for this pad, and therefore offer it for racing and competition.
