The classic-shaped silencer, brought up to Euro5+. Spark rebuilt its Trident system for the newer engine — reworked headers, a new racing catalyst — and kept the 60's case for owners who want the motorcycle to look unchanged.
Key Features
- Euro5+ homologated full system for the Triumph Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, 2025 to 2026.
- 60's silencer from Spark's modern-classic range.
- AISI 304 stainless collector with pre-silencer box.
- Racing catalytic converter, heavily impregnated with noble metals.
- Header length and diameter reworked for the Euro5+ engine.
- No mapping or ECU modification required.
Why the Later Bike Needed a New System
Euro5+ is not a label change. The standard tightened what an exhaust has to achieve, and Spark's response was to redevelop rather than recertify: the header was modified in both length and diameter to optimise gas flow and improve engine response, and a new racing converter with heavier noble-metal impregnation went into the box.
That is why the 2025 machines have their own part numbers. A system built for the earlier Trident will not carry the newer approval, whatever it looks like from outside.
The Quiet Choice in the Range
Spark offers this system with two silencers for the 2025 bikes: the 60's here and the Moto GP as GTR8831TOM. The 60's is the only case in the Trident programme not derived from racing — a period-correct silhouette from Spark's modern-classic range.
On a Trident, whose whole appeal is an uncluttered line, that is a coherent match. It is also the least expensive of the homologated 2025 systems.
A Note on the Name
Spark's product page for this code names the silencer as the 60's; the dealer price list files the same part under Evo V. Both are cases from Spark's modern-classic range, and the difference is in the paperwork rather than in the box.
We follow the product page, which names the silencer for this specific code. If you are matching an invoice that reads Evo V, this is the same article.
Nothing Else to Do
Spark's R&D defined the configuration for this engine while maximising power and delivery without requiring any change to the mapping or the ECU.
For a motorcycle under warranty and serviced by a dealer, that is worth more than a power figure. No dyno time, no flashed map, no error codes, and the registration document stays as it is.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, 2025 through 2026. The black ceramic version is GTR8830BOM. With the Moto GP silencer the system is GTR8831TOM, or GTR8831DOM in black ceramic. The racing titanium alternative is GTR8832T. For the earlier machines the equivalent is GTR8819IOM.
Road Approval
Euro5+ homologated. Legal for road use as supplied, with no ECU modification.
