Puig has manufactured this rear mudguard extension from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), a tough, impact-resistant plastic that stands up to grit, stones and road spray far better than a bare fender edge. The matt black paint finish is chosen specifically to preserve the Tracer 900 GT's factory appearance, so the extension looks like it belongs there rather than a bolt-on afterthought.
Installation Notes
The rear fender extension fits over the original fender and is secured using the screws supplied by Puig. Fitting does require drilling holes into the original fender to mount the extension securely — a fitting guide with useful tips is available to download from Puig to make the process straightforward.
