Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Why the Original

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 15203-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 566 mm, dimension c 60 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15203-02

Category: Fork Parts

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 566 mm

Dimension C: 60 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15203-02_6e31e6b3-9386-4ef6-8aac-08c404379fb7.png?v=1788876164
