DescriptionThe whole story▼
Seven point four kilos. That is what Spark's full titanium system removes from a Ducati V2 — 4.2 kg against a standard exhaust that weighs 11.6 — and it is the largest reduction available on this motorcycle by a wide margin.
Key Features
- Full titanium racing system for the Ducati Panigale V2 955/959 and Streetfighter V2, 2016 to 2024.
- 4.2 kg against 11.6 kg standard — 7.4 kg saved.
- Two Grid-O silencers under the seat, full titanium with titanium mesh.
- Visible TIG-welded collectors and silencers.
- Developed with WSSP teams, from WSBK experience.
- Compatible with the stock motorcycle.
Read the Restrictions Before Ordering
Spark lists three consequences of the underseat layout, and none of them is small. The passenger footboards cannot be kept. The lock under the seat becomes inaccessible. And the original radiator fan duct will need to be modified for installation.
The third is the one that surprises people. It is not a bracket change — a duct has to be cut. Plan for it, and if you are not doing the work yourself, tell whoever is before the bike goes on the bench.
Engineered, Not Adapted
Spark's R&D describes this kit in unusual detail: 3D scanning of the motorcycle, 3D drawings, 3D laser cutting for the titanium bushings, and visible TIG-welded collectors and silencers.
The Grid-O silencers themselves are full titanium with a titanium mesh across the outlet and their welds left on show. The development came out of collaboration with World Supersport teams and experience gained in World Superbike — which on a Ducati V2, a bike raced in exactly those classes, is the relevant pedigree rather than a borrowed one.
One Cable You Will Need
Spark states that to reinstall the original lambda sensors, extension cable 0CAVO002 is required. It is a twenty-centimetre extension and it is not in the box.
Order it with the system. A lambda sensor that cannot reach its plug is the kind of small omission that stops an installation dead on a Saturday afternoon, and the cable costs a fraction of what a second delivery costs in time.
Fitment & Compatibility
Ducati Panigale V2 955 and Streetfighter V2 955, 2020 through 2024, and the Panigale 959 from 2016 through 2019, on the stock motorcycle. With Moto GP silencers the system is GDU8833T. The rectangular-silencer versions are GDU8837T and, in the WSSP specification, GDU8836T. The 3/4 kit is GDU8850T.
Road Approval
None. The system carries no EC certificate and no catalytic converter. Closed circuits only.
