The first piece of a system you can build in stages. Spark's AISI 304 racing manifold for the Street Triple replaces the standard headers at 2.2 kg against 3.0 kg, and takes every half system and silencer group Spark makes for this engine.
Key Features
- AISI 304 stainless steel racing manifold for the Triumph Street Triple, 2017 to 2026.
- 2.2 kg against 3.0 kg standard.
- Collector diameters and lengths optimised from Spark's Moto2 work.
- One lambda sensor socket.
- Directly replaceable with the original manifold.
- Base for the GTR0501T, GTR0507TOM, GTR0509T, GTR0510T and GTR0511T kits.
The Modular Idea
Spark built its Street Triple range as a set of pieces rather than a set of exhausts. This manifold is the bottom of it. Above it sit the homologated half systems with a catalysed box, the racing half systems with a titanium link pipe, and the WSSP replica link pipes with a carbon cover — and all of them mount either on this manifold or on the standard one.
The practical consequence is that a rider can start with a silencer, add the manifold a year later and end up with a full Spark system without ever having bought the same part twice. Spark says as much: the homologated and racing half systems both fit the original collector with its catalyst, or this one.
Where the Dimensions Came From
Spark has worked on Triumph's three-cylinder since it entered Moto2, and states that the racetrack experience is what set the collector diameters and lengths for the road bike. That is a more useful claim than a power figure, because primary length and diameter are the two variables that actually decide where a three-cylinder makes its torque.
What it means in practice: this manifold is not a wider version of the standard one. It is a set of dimensions chosen on a dynamometer for an engine Spark knows better than most.
Sound, Measured
Spark publishes a figure for this manifold in combination with the homologated GTR0507TOM half system: 97 dB at 5,850 rpm with the dB killer fitted, 100 dB without it.
Those are useful numbers because they are for the pairing rather than for the part. A manifold on its own has no sound level; what it does is change what the silencer behind it has to work with.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Street Triple, 2017 through 2026, including the 660 S and the 765 R, RS and S. On MY24-26 machines the SKIT112 mounting kit is required — it contains the radiator bracket this manifold needs. The manifold carries a single lambda sensor socket.
Road Approval
None on its own. Combined with a homologated Spark half system such as GTR0507TOM the assembly is road legal; with a racing link pipe it is not.
