Thread pitch on end caps is specific to the tube they close.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 06106-04

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs. End caps seal the unit and carry the adjusters; they are matched to the tube they close.

Original Öhlins Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 06106-04 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. End caps carry adjusters, seals and often the gas valve. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06106-04

Category: End Eyes

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06106-04_fab87451-50c3-4d05-ace6-d524260c9b40.png?v=1788877358
