Outer tubes are specific to the fork model and its travel.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 04760-30

Dimension C 478 mm

Dimension B 54 mm

Dimension A 50 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

This one measures 50 mm, 54 mm, 478 mm, and those figures are what separate it from the neighbouring numbers. The outer tube holds the bushings and the seal head, so its bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking. Öhlins anodises the bore where the bushings run.

Why the Original

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 04760-30 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 50 mm, dimension b 54 mm, dimension c 478 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Öhlins anodises the bore where the bushings run.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-30

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 50 mm

Dimension B: 54 mm

Dimension C: 478 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-30_11daca7d-65cf-45b0-8775-4341316f54fd.png?v=1788873163
