DescriptionThe whole story▼
Autumn suits the CBR650F. The roads are quieter, the air is cool, and Honda's fully faired inline four, built from 2014 to 2018 for everyday road riding, runs smoothly through the gears on a crisp morning. It is also the season of wet leaves, mud carried out of farm gateways and shaded corners that never quite dry. A low-speed slide on a right-hand bend is the typical result, and it leaves the bike on its right side with the front brake lever underneath. For the CBR650F of these years, Accossato's AGD207 is a silver replacement brake lever in the original form.

Construction and Material Quality
A replacement of the original type has one job: to make the controls look and work as they did before the damage. The AGD207 is built on that idea. It follows the shape of the lever the CBR650F came with, and Accossato developed it to be good value for money, adding that its way of manufacturing these levers leaves them more resistant after damage or a fall. The lever is silver. Accossato does not publish its material, weight or dimensions.
Leaves on a Right-Hand Bend
Most autumn slides happen at modest speed, and most of them start with a surprise: a carpet of leaves on the exit of a bend, a smear of mud where a tractor turned out, a patch of damp tarmac under trees. Smooth inputs are the defence. Brake while the bike is still upright, keep the throttle steady through the corner and look well ahead for changes in the colour of the surface. If the CBR650F does go down, it usually slides a short way on the side of the bend and stops. Check yourself before the bike, then lift it and look at what touched the road: the brake lever, bar end, footpeg, mirror and the right side of the fairing. A bent brake lever is the one item that should never be ridden home as it is, because it may crack under a hard squeeze. With the AGD207 fitted, the pivot cleaned and lightly greased and the pressure point and brake light checked, the controls are right again. Even so, a slide deserves a closer look at the handlebar and the fork alignment before the next long ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD207 for the CBR650F from 2014 to 2018, naming versions with and without ABS, and it is the only original-type replacement brake lever we show for this model. At Inter-Pace the same lever also appears under the CB650F, the CBR500R and the CRF1000L Africa Twin. Before you order, compare the photo with the lever fitted to your CBR650F. If you would rather fit a tuning part, Accossato's CNC levers for this bike are EDF018 for the brake and ESH065 for the clutch.
Road Approval
Inter-Pace holds no test certificate for this lever, no German ABE and no test mark, so we list the AGD207 for racing and competition.
