Dry rock gives the Beta RR 300 two-stroke all the grip a rider could ask for. Wet rock is another material altogether. A slab of limestone or granite that you rode up with confidence in the morning can turn treacherous after an afternoon shower, and suddenly the front brake is the control that needs the gentlest hand of all. Accossato's answer for the front brake of the RR 300 two-stroke from 2013 to 2022 is the B8206, a three-finger lever CNC-machined from Ergal 7075 in Italy, whose blade can fold forward if the bike slides out.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the B8206 on CNC equipment in Italy from solid Ergal 7075, an aluminium alloy valued for its high strength, and sets out to make a lever that is robust, light and reliable in use. There are two parts to it. The base, in a dark finish, fits to the front brake master cylinder; the blade, in the colour you order, connects to the base through a joint and is free to fold forward when struck. The blade itself has Accossato's brake-side length, shorter than the clutch lever and sized for three fingers.
When the Rock Turns Wet
Riders who know wet rock treat the front brake almost as if it were not there. Most of the slowing is done before the slab, on whatever soil or gravel lies in front of it; on the rock itself the front wheel is left to roll, and if the lever is touched at all, the squeeze is so light the tyre barely notices. The rear brake and a gentle, steady throttle do the rest, and the power of the RR 300 two-stroke can be fed in smoothly enough to crawl over a slab at walking pace.
Even so, wet rock catches everyone in the end. A front tyre that locks for a fraction of a second on a slick surface seldom recovers; the bike slides sideways and is down in the blink of an eye, often onto more rock. When the right side of the Beta hits, the brake lever takes a hard knock. The joint on the B8206 gives the blade the chance to fold forward, which can spare it from breaking where a solid part might not survive. Afterwards the routine is the same as ever: lift the Beta RR 300 two-stroke, check that the lever still works, and choose a slower line down.
Fitment and Compatibility
Every model year of the Beta RR 300 two-stroke from 2013 to 2022 is covered by the B8206, according to Accossato. The folding C7283 clutch lever is listed for the same bike over the same span, so both sides of the bar can wear Accossato levers if you wish. Their colour ranges overlap in black, blue and red, with gold available only on this brake lever and orange only on the clutch.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE on record for this lever. With the B8206 fitted, a registered RR 300 two-stroke is not approved for public roads; the lever is intended for off-road riding and competition.
