DescriptionThe whole story▼
Spacer, ball joint 14x32 al, Öhlins part number 01218-67. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.
Key Features
- Original Öhlins service part
- Öhlins part number 01218-67
Where It Sits
This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler. Width is what has to match — the bore follows the bearing.
Original Öhlins Part
Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.
How to Be Sure It Fits
01218-67 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. They are supplied in pairs because the bearing needs one each side. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job.
Fitting and Setup Service
Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.
