The JP CJP 012D carries no map at all when it arrives on the Softail FAT BOB Fxfb/s: every cell reads zero and the motorcycle runs exactly as the factory intended until somebody changes that.

Injection hardware changes more often than engines do. The years in the listing are part of the product, because the harness is cut for a specific arrangement.

A motorcycle with no registration and no test to pass removes the legal question entirely, which is one more reason this unit belongs on a circuit machine.
The Cost of the Whole Setup
The unit, a wideband sensor and a bung welded into the exhaust. Together they cost less than a decent silencer, and without the sensor the unit is an ornament with a USB socket.
