The JP ES 002 is what an owner needs to take the canister off the Streetfighter V4S properly rather than leaving hoses capped and a warning on the instrument panel.

Ohlins Semi-Active
The S adds electronically managed NIX30 forks and a TTX36 shock, which is what makes two hundred and eight horsepower usable on a road that is not perfectly surfaced.
Activated Carbon in a Vessel
It absorbs petrol vapour rising from a warm tank and holds it until the engine can draw it through the intake. That is the entire mechanism.

The Fault an Unplugged Valve Produces
The controller tests the purge solenoid electrically and stores a code the moment it finds nothing. That code is visible to any dealer with a reader and will not clear until the circuit is answered.
Where the Space Goes
Different owners want it for different things: an aftermarket shock reservoir, a larger exhaust silencer, a set of luggage mounts or simply a clean look under the tail. The volume freed is genuine and it is usually in the most contested part of the motorcycle.
What a Saturated Canister Smells Like
Raw fuel, strongest in a closed garage a few hours after the motorcycle has been parked warm. It is the most reliable sign that the charcoal has stopped absorbing, and once it has, it does not recover. Replacing the canister costs considerably more than removing it.
