DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the most unusual part Fullsix makes for the Diavel V4, and the only one with its own order-code family. It is a disc that closes the rear wheel, smoothing the airflow over a 240-section tyre and turning the back of the motorcycle into a single moving surface. Nothing else in the range changes the look this decisively.
Key Features
- Aerodynamic disc covering the rear wheel face
- Four configurations in 200 Plain: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
- Carries its own order code family, MD-WC24, separate from the rest of the Diavel V4 parts
- Smooths airflow across the widest part of the motorcycle
- The single most visually distinctive part available for this model
Be Realistic About Crosswinds
A wheel disc is the one carbon part on this list that changes how a motorcycle behaves in a way you might actually notice, and not necessarily in a way you will like. A closed rear wheel presents a flat surface to side winds where a spoked or cast wheel lets air pass through. On an exposed motorway bridge that is a push you will feel.
The Diavel V4 is a heavy motorcycle with a long wheelbase, which buys a lot of tolerance for that. It is still worth knowing before fitting, particularly for anyone who rides a lot of open motorway in windy regions. On a machine used mainly for shorter rides and shown as often as ridden, it is a non-issue.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Diavel V4, 2023 to 2026, on the standard rear wheel. Check that the valve remains accessible after fitting, and confirm wheel balance — anything added to a rotating assembly should be checked rather than assumed.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes no ABE or EC type-approval for this cover. A part fitted to a rotating wheel is examined closely in a technical inspection, and this is the part in the range where prior confirmation for your registration matters most.
Cleaning and Balance
Two practical points. A closed wheel face cannot be cleaned behind without removing the disc, so brake dust and road grime accumulate in a place that is out of sight. Plan on taking it off once or twice a year rather than never.
And have the wheel balanced after fitting. The disc is light and evenly distributed, so in principle it changes little — but it is mass added to a rotating assembly on a motorcycle that will see high sustained speeds, and assumption is the wrong approach to anything that spins.
