DescriptionThe whole story▼
Tall riders know the feeling. They stand up on the pegs of a Husqvarna FE 350 and find the handlebar well below where their hands want to be, so the back bends, the arms straighten and the weight ends up too far forward. After an hour of rough trail the lower back makes its opinion known. The answer usually lies in setting up the bike around the rider, starting from the feet. The enlarged Ergal footpegs Accossato lists for the FE 350 of 2024 to 2026, in orange, blue or black, are one piece of that set-up.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's words for this part: enlarged footpegs, made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. There are no dimensions in the description, and we do not add any. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy, and the practical point of the enlarged design is a bigger surface for the sole, which riders with large boots tend to appreciate. The set is a pair, left and right, and the latest FE 350 can have it in orange, blue or black.
When the Bars Feel Low
A comfortable standing position starts at the pegs and works upwards. With the feet in place, the knees slightly bent and the hips over the pegs, the hands should reach the grips without the rider having to stoop. If they do not, the handlebar is often the first thing to change: rolling the bar forward a little, moving the clamps to a higher position where the bike allows it, or fitting risers or a bar with a taller bend. Each change should be small and followed by a test ride.
Levers and pedal come next. When the bar moves, the angle of the clutch and brake levers should be reset so that the wrists stay straight when standing. At the feet, a tall rider with large boots may find that the gear lever and brake pedal sit too close to the sole, particularly after switching to broader pegs. Adjust both so they can be reached without lifting the foot off the peg, and check the brake for free play afterwards. Set up this way, the FE 350 lets a tall rider stand for longer without the back giving out.
Fitment and Compatibility
Three model-year groups, three sets: that is how Accossato handles the FE 350. This FR809 is for 2024 to 2026. An FE 350 from 2017 to 2023 takes the FR798, one from 2014 to 2016 the FR795. Check your bike's year, compare the photos and the colours on offer and write to us if you are unsure. The FR809 also appears in our listings for the FC 350, the TX 125 and the KTM 125 SX.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or other test certificate available to us for this set, and we therefore sell it for competition use.
