Where the R1's factory brake circuit includes a short rigid metal pipe section alongside its rubber hoses, this Accossato kit replaces both with six braided hoses, bringing the whole run from master cylinder to caliper onto flexible line. The Standard layout keeps the hose paths the factory used rather than rerouting them, so the change here is entirely about removing the rigid section and swapping the remaining rubber for braid, not about how the lines are arranged.

Construction and Material Quality
All six hoses use a stainless braid sheath over the inner line, finished with fittings made from stainless steel, supplied only bare on this part. Twenty braid colours are available, giving a broad range of finishes for a kit that covers the whole circuit including the section formerly built as pipe.
Standard Layout, Pipe Removed
This kit keeps the Standard-layout routing, meaning the hoses follow the same paths as the original rubber lines, but adds a sixth hose to take over the rigid pipe section rather than leaving it as metal. That is one of two Standard-layout options Accossato lists for the R1; the other, part AGA0201, keeps that pipe section in place and runs to seven hoses instead.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha R1 built between 2015 and 2021. Riders who would rather keep the factory's rigid pipe section in place should choose the seven-hose version, part AGA0201, and those after the most direct routing regardless of the pipe can use the three-hose Full-length kit, part AGA0072, which also fits the R1M. Because this version removes the rigid pipe entirely, it suits an owner planning other changes to the front end where a stray metal section would otherwise be awkward to work around.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 6 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
