The P08 sits at 80 microns and 5,050 l\/m²\/sec, the road-and-track setting rather than an extreme in either direction. In Sprint Filter's own comparison it retains 93.13 percent of 100-micron particles, against 76.42 percent for a four-layer oiled cotton filter. Worth saying plainly: none of this makes a standard Speed 400 feel quicker. What it does is duller and more useful — a lower resistance on the intake side, and a service item that gets serviced instead of bought.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare and cleaning\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eServicing CM267S means taking it out and blowing it through against the direction of flow, from the clean face outwards, with compressed air. Where grime has gone deeper than air will shift, water and a mild washing-up detergent do the rest; rinse and let it dry on its own. Never use heat or a flame to hurry that along, and never refit it damp. Nothing is oiled at the end, so there is no re-oiling step and nothing that can travel downstream onto a sensor.
