Puig produces this windshield to the same quality standards applied across their OEM-specification accessory range. The thermoplastic polymer body is moulded to a thickness of 3–4 mm — calibrated specifically for the Tiger 900's fairing geometry — giving the screen enough mass to dampen vibration without adding unnecessary weight to the front end. The rounded perimeter finish is not merely cosmetic; a radius of 2 mm or more around the entire edge is a requirement for TÜV compliance and ensures that, in the unlikely event of contact, the screen presents no sharp edges.
The visor is a genuine functional addition rather than styling trim. Fixed to the upper portion of the screen by bolts through factory-prepared holes, it can be adjusted to redirect wind over the helmet or away to the sides, letting riders dial in their preferred buffeting-free zone without tools on the road.
